About Michael Sampson:

Michael Sampson is a Collaboration Strategist. He helps end-user organisations in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Europe and other places around the world improve the performance of distributed teams by helping users embrace new working practices and organisations adopt appropriate technologies.

A noted blogger, analyst and author, Michael has written two critically accalaimed books on SharePoint and collaboration strategy; Seamless Teamwork (using SharePoint for collaboration), and SharePoint Roadmap for Collaboration (enhancing collaboration with SharePoint) are both hugely successful and widely recognised as the de facto texts relating SharePoint and the collaboration space.

Michael has a Master of Commerce (MCom) with first class honors in telecommunications-based IT, from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, and has, more recently, been working on his doctorate in collaborative applications and virtual teams.

He lives in and works out of New Zealand, and is happily married to Katrina with whom he has nine (yes, NINE!) children.
